Our business was established in 2007 and we have grown through repeat and referral business to become a leading provider of machine hire, bulk and heavy haulage solutions for civil construction, mining, general and commercial earthworks, sand and gravel deliveries, and road construction and maintenance.

While our depot is in Hughenden, Queensland, we service a vast region west to the Northern Territory border and north to Kowanyama, including Charters Towers, Richmond, Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Cairns, Townsville and Winton.

At SJ & SC Reddie Earthmoving we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and complete every project on time and budget. Our contractors are friendly, versatile and have a broad scope of experience, with more than 25 years spent working in earthworks, machine hire, heavy haulage, mine site development, road construction and bulk haulage. Owned and operated by Steve and Sally Reddie, the company was established to support the demand for high-quality, reliable machine hire services. Our team are dedicated to zero harm safety and environmental compliance and to achieve this we incorporate best practices methods of risk minimisation.

To deliver superior wet and dry machine hire solutions we have a modern, safe and regularly serviced fleet of road train tippers, semi water carts, drop-deck and flattop trailers, a grader and a multi tyres roller available for short or long-term hire. We keep detailed logbooks on all our machinery.
