Thanks for taking the time to get to know me – your girl behind the camera!
My roots began in the cattle industry, having left school and working on cattle properties throughout northern Australia in my teens and 20’s. I now run a successful commercial and Stud cattle business with my husband, Peter. Together with our two children Charlie and Hanna, we own and live on our property outside of Hughenden QLD.
I love everything about rural life, the wide open spaces and the down to earth country values distilled in our community, I wouldn’t want to raise my children anywhere else!
I am also a keen gardener, even though I don’t have a very green thumb, in my opinion you can never have to many plants. I have acquired a taste for the finest cappuccino’s, I’m always up for a coffee run and deep and meaningful conversations and getting to know people. I am a savvy organiser and I love to entertain. My husband tells me I have expensive taste and I always levitate to the finer things in life, which I think says more about him then it does me! Hahaha Oh and I do often laugh at my own jokes!
I cannot go past a baby or toddler without making eye contact with them and pulling funny faces, believe me I’ve tried! Seeing their reaction is always priceless and makes me smile. I am a prop and outfit collector, and my obsession is beyond unhealthy! “Some” may say that I am a scary driver, but I just say that I drive with purpose! If you don’t already know I love cattle, specifically Brahmans! They are my favourite animal; I have rarely worked in any position without them. Owning our own Brahman stud allows me to get up close and personal with them, sometimes a little too friendly!
I am a caring and compassionate person that is super independent, I am a very self-driven, capable person that likes to always keep busy, but I wouldn’t be where I am today without my support person that is my husband!
